Choctaw Land Cessions in Mississippi and Alabama

This map shows the original homeland of the Choctaws in what are now Mississippi and southwestern Alabama as well as the land cessions over time through various treaties lost their traditional homeland. Alabama treaty cessions are Hoe Buckintoopa (1803), Mount Dexter (1805), Fort St. Stephens (1816), and Dancing Rabbit Creek (1830).
