This lithograph of Wesleyan University in Florence, Lauderdale County, was produced in the late nineteenth century by the New York printing company Robertson, Seibert & Shearman. The company produced numerous prints of notable sites in the United States. This print likely was created as a promotional piece for the Olmsted Brothers architectural firm after Frederick Law Olmsted designed the plan for the campus.
