The William Hooper Councill Domestic Science Building, on the campus of Alabama A&M University in Normal, Madison County, was named for the school's first principal and president. The building is a contributing property to the Alabama Agricultural and Mechanic University Historic District, which was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.
