Auburn University men's basketball coach Bruce Pearl helps cut down the net after his team defeated the University of Tennessee to win the Southeastern Conference Tournament on March 17, 2019, the first of two under Pearl. After 11 seasons, Pearl stepped down prior to the 2025-26 season with a program-best 234-125 record and two NCAA Tournament Final Four appearances. His son, assistant coach Steven Pearl, was named his replacement.
