Toomer's Corner is the heart of the city of Auburn, located in west-central Lee County. Auburn is the largest city in the county and the home of Auburn University, one of Alabama's land grant universities. The junction of the city's two main streets is home to the Toomer Oaks and the site of victory celebrations for Auburn athletic teams and their fans.
