William Thomas “Tommy” Beavers (1949-2023) was a Grammy Award-winning drummer and songwriter who played in several bands in Montgomery during his career. Beavers won a Grammy Award for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals on the album Tribute to the Music of Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys, recorded in 1993.
