This quilt, titled Tea Cup, features a cup and saucer pattern and was created by quilter Soon Hee Kim, who was born in Taegu, Korea, but now resides in Montgomery; all of her quilts are hand pieced and hand quilted. More recent immigrant populations in Alabama have brought their own cultural aesthetics to American folk-art forms, including quilting.
