Quilter Mozell Benson (1934-2012) was a long-time resident of Waverly, Lee County, whose work has been shown in the Smithsonian Institution and the American Folklife Museum. Benson was the recipient of a Folk Arts Apprenticeship grant from the Alabama Center for Traditional Culture in 2007.
