The Tavern Room at Pope's Tavern Museum in Florence, Lauderdale County, recreates the typical style of such rooms in taverns and inns of the mid-nineteenth century. Although the building itself never served as a tavern or inn, the site was host to one during the early years of its use as a stagecoach stop.
