This postcard from the 1950s advertises J. R. Sealy's mineral springs resort, Sealy's Hot Salt Mineral Well, in Cottonwood, Houston County. Sealy opened the resort after discovering a subterranean mineral hot spring while prospecting for oil in the 1920s. The resort operated until 2001, when it was destroyed by fire.
