These stamps are from a larger series created by the U.S. Postal Service to honor the world-renowned quilters, including several members of the Pettway family, of the Gee's Bend community of Wilcox County. On the left is a "Nine-Patch" pattern by Ruth Pettway Moseley, and on the right is a "Medallion" pattern by Loretta Pettway.
