Lake Wedowee

Lake Wedowee is the local name for Harris Reservoir, located in western Randolph and eastern Clay Counties. The 10,660-acre lake was formed when Alabama Power finished the R. L. Harris Dam across the Tallapoosa River in the early 1980s.
