J. E. B. Stuart

John Pelham served as a captain in Brig. Gen. J. E. B. Stuart's mobile artillery unit during the Civil War. He was one of Gen. Robert E. Lee's most trusted military leaders and was died from wounds suffered in the Battle of Yellow Tavern in Virginia on May 12, 1864.
