The Decatur Union Depot Museum in Decatur, Morgan County, was built in 1905 by the Southern Railway (now the Norfolk Southern Railway). It now serves as a museum of the city's railroad heritage, with exhibits that include model trains and train sets, rail-related artifacts, and graphic panels telling the history of the rail service in the city dating back to 1834. The facility was awarded the Historical Preservation Project of the Year for Public Buildings by Alabama Main Street in 2016.
