The 2006 men's and women's Auburn University championship swimming teams pose at Toomer's Corner. Although football garners the most attention at Auburn, its swimming teams consistently finish at the top of their sport. A number of Auburn swimmers have medalled in the Olympics, including three-time gold-medalists Kirsty Coventry and Ambrose "Rowdy" Gaines.
