George William Brock (1861-1941) was a professor of ancient languages and mathematics who served as president of the Alabama Normal College for Girls and Livingston Female Academy (now the University of West Alabama) from 1910-1936. During his tenure the school began officially enrolling men and built a number of new instructional facilities.
