Alabama Midland Railroad Depot and Museum

The Alabama Midland Railroad Depot and Museum in Ashford, Houston County, was built in 1888 on the route between Montgomery, Montgomery County, and Bainbridge, Georgia. The depot was opened to the public in 2005 after being completely renovated. Its exhibits include a restored caboose and cargo car, seen far right.
