Moss Hill (Seale Plantation House), Wilcox County

Moss Hill (Seale Plantation House) in the Pine Apple vicinity of Wilcox County, is a restored example of a southern variation on the "I" house. In this version, a long, low porch extends across the front, with a corresponding shed-roofed extension across the rear. Such houses are sometimes referred to as the "plantation plain" style.
