Found almost exclusively in the sunny bogs of coastal Alabama, Mississippi, and the Florida Panhandle, the white pitcher plant (Sarracenia leucophylla) is the tallest of these carnivorous plants. The drooping maroon flowers appear here just behind the pitcher.
