This map details the various districts of the Valley and Ridge Physiographic Section. The key to the abbreviations is as follows: ArmucheeRidges (AR); Birmingham-Big Canoe Valley (BBC); Cahaba Valley (CV);Cahaba Ridges (CR); Coosa Valley (COV); Coosa Ridges (COR); and WeisnerRidges (WR). The red lines indicate the boundaries of the Valley and Ridge, and the red-filled areas are the ridge districts. The black circles are Birmingham (left) and Anniston (right).
