Gwen Patton and other Tuskegee University students march on the streets of Tuskegee in protest of the murder of fellow activist Samuel "Sammy" Younge Jr. in January 1966. Younge was murdered by a white man for trying to use a whites-only restroom during a voting registration drive and was the first college student killed for his involvement in the civil rights movement.
