A tornado menaces the region around Arab, Marshall County, during the tornado Super Outbreak of April 25-28, 2011. The outbreak was one of the deadliest in U.S. history and produced 360 confirmed tornadoes that tore through the South, the Midwest, and the Northeast. Arab was spared a direct hit, but numerous communities in Marshall, Cullman, and Morgan Counties suffered significant damage by an EF4 tornado.
