Three Lives for Mississippi

Writer William Bradford Huie produced works of nonfiction on race-related violence during the late 1950s, including Three Lives for Mississippi (1965), about the murder of civil rights activists Andrew Goodman, James Earl Chaney, and Michael Schwerner in 1964. The first edition of the book featured an introduction by civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.
