The Temple of Vesta in Vestavia Hills, a loose replica of that temple in Rome, Italy, was built on the estate of former Birmingham mayor George Battey Ward in 1929. Shown here in its original location and look, the structure was moved to its current location at the southern end of Vestavia Hills in 1976, and only the roof and columns were retained. It is owned by the Vestavia Garden Club.
