Sumter County Courthouse

The Sumter County Courthouse is located in the county seat of Livingston. It was built in 1902 in the Beaux-Arts style based upon a design by architect Frederick Ausfeld, who also designed Sidney Lanier High School in Montgomery and the Covington County Courthouse in Andalusia, among other buildings in the state. The courthouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.
