Stacy and Kevin Brown opened the first Chicken Salad Chick restaurant in January 2008 and greatly expanded the business over the next several years. Kevin Brown died in 2015, one year after the creation of the Chicken Salad Chick Foundation, which partners with the American Cancer Society and other local nonprofits to improve the lives of community members.
