St. Peter Catholic Church in Montgomery, Montgomery County, was constructed in 1852 in the Spanish Colonial style and expanded to its present appearance in 1882. It replaced the previous structure, which burned in 1840. The parish itself dates back to 1834 and was one of the first Catholic parishes in Alabama.
