Sallie Cargill Jones (1835-1908) was a Virginian who moved to Camden, Wilcox County, with her family. Her father, John Cargill Jones, was a Baptist minister in Camden. Jones was awarded the charter for the Alabama Division of the United Daughters of the Confederacy on March 26, 1896.
