Renovations and additions to the Safe House Black History Museum in Greensboro, Hale County were completed by students in the Auburn University Rural Studio program. They included the construction of a glass hallway connecting the original museum building with a newly renovated annex. The walkway features a large mural depicting marching civil rights activists, and the additional structure houses gallery space, a computer lab, and a classroom.
