Rotifer

Rotifers such as this (Keratella cochlearis) are transparent microscopic organisms that live almost anywhere is found. Most live in freshwater, but there are several species that live in marine or brackish environments. They are called rotifers because they have circularly arranged hairlike cilia that resemble a turning wheel as they move.
