Rikard's Mill Historical Park in Beatrice, Monroe County, is part of the Monroe County Heritage Museum, the site of a grist mill founded and operated on Flat Creek by blacksmith Jacob Rikard during the mid-nineteenth century. Today the park serves as a venue for "pioneer" activities such as the annual Cane Syrup Making Day.
