Scottsboro native Pat Trammell was the quarterback of the University of Alabama football program from 1958-60. He led the Crimson Tide to a record of 26 wins, 3 losses, and 2 ties under head coach Paul "Bear" Bryant, including an 11-0 record and the SEC Championship in 1961.
