Nathan B. Young

Alabama native Nathan B. Young (1862-1933) was an educator who worked to improve the all-around quality of education for African Americans during the early twentieth century. Early in his career, Young worked with Booker T. Washington at Tuskegee Institute, and he later served as president of Florida Agriculture and Mechanical College and Lincoln University in Missouri.
