The Mothers of Gynecology sculpture group was created by artist Michelle Browder as a monument to the three women, Lucy, Betsey, and Anarcha, who suffered under the experiments of J. Marion Sims. In 2021, the city of Montgomery unveiled the work at 17 Mildred Street near the National Memorial for Peace and Justice.
