Morgan-Neal House

The Morgan-Neal House on Franklin Street in Huntsville was built around 1823 and is the birthplace of Confederate military leader John Hunt Morgan. The home was remodeled to its current Italianate style in 1855 by owner George W. Neal. It is now a contributing property to the Twickenham Historic District, added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973 and expanded in 2015.
