Mobile Register Headquarters

The historic Kress Building in Mobile, now home to the Mobile Press-Register, was built in 1914 as part of a chain of department stores established by Samuel H. Kress of Pennsylvania. The Press-Register moved into the building on South Royal Street in 2014 after a series of layoffs greatly reduced the staff.
