The membership card for the Medical Association of Alabama was issued to John Little Jr. by the organization in 1872. A Tuscaloosa native, Little was a physician for the Alabama Light Artillery during the Civil War and then took a position with Bryce Hospital in Tuscaloosa. He later went on to a banking career.
