Mardi Gras Parade on Royal Street

A reveler from the Order of LaShe tosses cups to the crowds gathered along Royal Street in downtown Mobile on Fat Tuesday, the last day of Mardi Gras. The city was the first in North America to celebrate the holiday in 1703, when it was under French rule.
