Lincoln Laconia (L. L.) Burwell (1867-1928) was an African American healthcare pioneer and entrepreneur who established a pharmacy and medical facility in his adopted hometown of Selma. He also advocated for the expansion of healthcare and improved economic and social conditions for Black citizens of Alabama.
