Kymulga Grist Mill

The historic Kymulga Mill in Childersburg, Talladega County, was built by Confederate Army officer William Forney during the Civil War, and it survived Union raids that destroyed other such industrial structures in north Alabama. Today the mill and a nearby bridge are part of Kymulga Park, which is owned and operated by the Childersburg Heritage Committee is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
