Kenneth Giddens

Long-time Mobilian Kenneth Giddens (1908-1993) was the longest-serving director of the Voice of America, the official broadcasting network of the U.S. federal government. In addition to his federal service, Giddens was an entrepreneur who established the Giddens and Rester movie theater chain in the Southeast.
