Jeremiah Haralson

Jeremiah Haralson (1846-1916) served as an Alabama state senator and representative before his 1875 election to the U.S. House of Representatives for Alabama's First Congressional District. He held a number of positions with the federal government after leaving office, including customshouse agent and clerk in the U.S. Department of the Interior.
