Located at Tannehill Iron Works Historical State Park, the Iron and Steel Museum of Alabama provides visitors with exhibits and activities that explore nineteenth-century iron making in the Roupes Valley area south of Birmingham, Jefferson County. The museum includes displays illustrating production techniques and more than 10,000 artifacts.
