Octavia Walton married physician Henry Strachey Le Vert in 1836, and the couple settled into their large estate on Government Street in Mobile. The mansion was demolished in the 1960s to make way for the Mobile County Courthouse, but Henry’s physician’s office remains. It is now the headquarters of the Mobile Bar Association.
