Happy Land Jubilee Singers

The Blind Boys of Alabama began as a student choral group, the Happy Land Jubilee Singers, in 1939 at what was then the Alabama Institute for the Negro Deaf and Blind in Talladega (now the Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind). The group went on to worldwide fame and continues to perform with a changing lineup.
