Vonetta Flowers and Jill Bakken start off on their gold-medal run at Utah Olympic Park Track during the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. The winning two-woman bobsled run earned Flowers the distinction of being the first African American to win a gold medal in the Winter Olympics.
