Crimson Tide head football coach Gene Stallings is carried across the field after the University of Alabama capped a perfect 12-0 1992 season with a national championship, defeating the University of Miami Hurricanes at the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, Louisiana, in January 1993. Both teams came into the game having completed undefeated regular seasons.
