Gabriel Moore (c. 1785-1845) was governor of Alabama from 1829-31. An attorney from North Carolina who settled in Huntsville in the early nineteenth century, Moore was a representative to the Mississippi and the Alabama Territorial Houses and later served in the Alabama Senate and the U.S. Congress.
