Frisco City Canning Facility

This community canning center in Frisco City was built during World War II. It was featured in a 1944 pamphlet produced by the U.S. Department of Agriculture as part of its efforts to establish similar facilities throughout the United States. These centers were intended to prevent food shortages caused by the war.
