Figure 9b. Cambrian Agnostoid Trilobite

Glyptagnostus reticulatus, an agnostoid trilobite from the upper Cambrian Conasauga Formation. Agnostoids were very small, blind trilobites with only two body segments. They were often widely distributed across ancient oceans, and this species is also found in Europe. This specimen is only about 0.3 inches (6 millimeters) long.
